According to the Antique Automobile Club of America (and quite a number of other organizations worldwide, the term ‘antique car’ refers to a car that is more than 25 years of age.

Though the term ‘classic car’ is subject to difference of opinion, it is widely understood that a car will have to be at least 15 to 25 years of age to be considered a classic (or belong to the pre-war period).

According to the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA):

A CCCA Classic is a “fine” or “distinctive” automobile, either American or foreign built, produced between 1925 and 1948. Generally, a Classic was high-priced when new and was built in limited quantities. Other factors, including engine displacement, custom coachwork and luxury accessories, such as power brakes, power clutch, and “one-shot” or automatic lubrication systems, help determine whether a car is considered to be a Classic.

However, the CCCA is not a final authority on classic cars.

If you want to drive a car that is unusual, then you could seriously consider antique cars by Cadillac. Most Cadillac vintage cars can be maintained pretty well. Cadillacs are luxury cars, which were aimed at the upper-class market.

However, the Eldorado remains the ultimate model of all Cadillacs. Introduced in 1953, the Eldorado is available as convertibles, and double-door hardtop models.
